I was busting at the seams in anticipation of The Hunger Games Movie. And with the new movie comes a new album, Songs From District 12 and Beyond.
First came the artist announcements followed by the first single. Then the track listing was announced via iTunes and the first official music video was released. There were a few changes along the way but now the album is finished and out! Pick up your copy today. :)

Safe & Sound - Taylor Swift featuring The Civil Wars
Wow, "Safe & Sound", the first single from the Hunger Games Soundtrack, is haunting and beautiful. It has a very different sound for Taylor Swift, and it made me Google The Civil Wars. I think this is a wonderful collaboration. You can watch the official video here and download the song from iTunes.
